Lhasa Arrival
The driver and guide will pick you up at Lhasa Railway Station or Airport, and then drive along the Lhasa River Scenic Belt to Lhasa City to feel the pure air of the plateau. When arriving in Lhasa, you will check into the hotel. Please avoid going out and have a good rest to adapt to the altitude sickness.

Potala Palace—Jokhang Temple—Bharkor Street
In the morning, visit the Potala Palace, the highest ancient palace-style complex in the world, which served as the residence of Dalai Lamas and the center of political and religious power in Tibet. It houses golden stupas containing the remains of past Dalai Lamas, along with a large collection of precious murals, thangkas, and Buddha statues, serving as a concentrated embodiment of Tibetan culture.
After lunch, visit the Jokhang Temple, the earliest Buddhist temple built during the Tubo Dynasty. Inside, there is a twelve-year-old statue of Shakyamuni Buddha brought by Princess Wencheng when she entered Tibet, which is considered the most sacred and miraculous statue by the Tibetan people. Here, visitors can witness the devout prayers of the local people and join them in circumambulating Barkhor Street to pray for all beings.

Lhasa Sightseeing: Drepung Monastery-Sera Monastery
Today, you will visit two monasteries in Lhasa, the Drepung and the Sera. Drepung monastery is situated at 8km away from central Lhasa and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. It was biggest monastery in the world in 17th century, housed over 10000 monks in 1614 and Ganden podrang in Drepung was the Tibet governmental administration from which former Dalai Lamas had practiced contral over Tibet. Later moved to Potala palace by fifth Dalai Lama, Lobsang Gyatso. After lunch, continue to visit the Sera Monastery, which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa's disciple Jamchen Choeje. Lhasa-Yamdrok lake-Gyangtse-Shigatse
Driving over Kambala pass 4794m, you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso and spectacular views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar in the distance, the turquoise colored Lake Yamdrok Yutso is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, the unforgettable vista of pincer-shaped turquoise water of the lake and amazing spectacle of Mt. Nyenchen Khangsar glacier from Karo la pass are wonders of the day. Then along the Friendship southern Hwy drive to Gyantse, visit the famous stupa - Gyantse Kumbum, one of the most stunning architectural wonders in Tibet. Drive to Shigatse. Overnight in Shigatse

Shigatse to Lhasa
You will visit Tashlumpo monastery where you can see the well preserved largest statue of Jampa(future god) in Tibet and golden funeral tomb of former Panchen Lamas. Drive back to Lhasa along the northern friendship highway, beautiful landscape and bramaputra river will accompany you to Lhasa. Overnight in Lhasa.
Tingri by friend-ship highway back to Shigaste.
